The Efficiency Council’s annual conference is a dynamic, interactive event intended to help shape the future of energy efficiency and demand response in California. Building Blocks to Integrate Efficiency and Demand Response into California’s Distributed Energy Future – May, 2016
Efficiency Council and guest speakers got together for a one-day professional education symposium to stay current in the energy efficiency and demand response fields as these resources evolve to meet California’s grid needs. The event is designed to build a deeper understanding of how efficiency and demand response will fit into California’s emerging distributed energy future. Energy Efficiency and Demand Response Policy in California: Accelerate your knowledge of how the past influences the future – September, 2016
This half-day training from the Efficiency Council, designed for mid-level professionals, will raise your policy IQ and deliver career-building insights to demystify California’s policies on energy efficiency and demand response. We will provide an overview from the very early days of energy “conservation” starting in the 1960’s through today and identify how major events have influenced the policy landscape. We will define and dive into pending or recently decided policies and legislation that impact your job in the energy efficiency and demand response industries.

California Energy Champions Awards
The Energy Champions Awards event recognizes key businesses and policy leaders in California who have shown excellence in advancing energy efficiency. The Efficiency Council recognizes key members of the State Legislature who have shown support and leadership on energy issues affecting our industry. In addition, exceptional companies implementing outstanding efficiency projects will receive awards. This is a perfect networking opportunity to interact with policy leaders in a social setting. Membership Networking Opportunities
These include member-to-member networking events, as well as partnerships with other organizations such as Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP), Silicon Valley Leadership Group, etc. Members recently gathered in Oakland for an evening of beers and fellowship and we held our first ever networking event with the California chapter of AESP earlier in the year.
